Weigh fluctuation....

Hi everyone....I have being doing this for 6 mths now...and love.it....I was wondering if any one else's weight fluctuates as much as mine...I used to weigh myself everyday...which I know is wrong....have broken the habit now.....but my weigh can drop 5/6 lb after my fast days....thn I can put 4/5 back on....still losing...but a Huge difference... Any one else notice this? I'm sure it's the norm....but just asking x

Well I think it's the fact we're not taking in any food (which weighs something) but we're still excreting at the same rate.

This is why I try not to weigh myself on the morning after a fast - seems like a false low :-)

I do that in a day, diet or no diet. Nightmare to work out my actual weight as there really isn't one.

I take the opposite view. It's as close as you'll get to your actual weight and it eliminates to the greatest extent possible the fluctuations caused by food in your system.

Oh yes. Daily fluctuations are huge based mostly on how much food is in your system. I wouldn't worry much even if you seem to gain weight one week compared to the last. It could easily be that you've more food in your system at weigh-in time than usual for some reason.
