First Fast Day

Hi, my fast day on the fast diet. Went pretty well. Started day with boiled eggs and ham. Lots of water and tea during the day. Grilled fish and veggies for dinner. Looking forward to Thursday (next fast day). :D . Paul

Hi Paul

Well done on your first fast day! Today is my first fast day too and seems to be going well. 2 boiled eggs and 2 slices of lo-cal toast. Its lunchtime now and surprisingly not hungry yet.....

Hope Thursday goes well for you too.

Its my first fast day too. I went for the longer fast and had a WW soup and 100g strawberries at about 2pm (80 cals), then I had Hairy Dieters Chicken Jalfrezi (295 cals)with 80g wild brown rice for dinner (113 cals). I drank hot water with lemon during the day, and I've had a coffee with milk this evening and will probably have another before bed.
I was fine all morning, but spent a lot of it in the loo!!! About 4.30pm I felt really hungry and had a grumbly tummy. But it made my dinner taste all the better.
All in all, I feel very positive about my first day!

Thanks Melba. I was much the same as you with the tummy grumbles and toilet trips but a good day. Was scared to stop drinking in case I succumbed to hunger! Really really enjoyed dinner and the way I ate it was not a pretty sight! But tomorrow....no diet, hurrah! X

Well done all you newbies ;) ! The first few fasts are the hardest so you are off to a great start, you all seem to have sailed through day 1 so lots of happy fasting ahead! Do put your stats into the tracker here - it makes a pretty and encouraging graph over time and you are contributing (anonymously) to the overall forum stats. I've been on 5:2 for nearly six months, still a little way to go to reach my target...

Me too! 1.5 lbs down the morning after first fast - be interesting to see if its still missing tomorrow....

I've completed 2 Fast days now and will not weigh in until Monday morning so that it shows a complete weeks loss. I did Wednesday (yesterday) as my 2nd fast day as I knew I was going to have a meal out and wine tonight.
I've got visitors all next week, but still plan to have Monday and Wednesday as Fast Days.
Hope you are all doing well.

Hi Melba. I got through my second fast day yesterday too! So very happy. Weighed myself and have lost 1.1kg, but will weight for Monday weigh in to see if it stays off!
