The FastDay Forum

Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

First day today! I've tried diets in the past with limited success and am now looking for something that will become a life style change instead of an event. The pounds are creeping on as I hit middle age so change I must!
I've been reading the forum and have found great advice. Thanks everyone and here goes!

Trying to work out how the forum is keeping me totally absorbed and not thinking about food (day 4). Never been in (on?) a forum before but it's fantastic to suddenly find all these people! I don't know anyone on this diet so it felt as if I was the only idiot on it. Seemingly not...If I knew how to add a smiley face I'd insert one here

I coped with the first fast day much better than I thought I would! I had an egg for breakfast and then small amount of meat and lots of veg for evening meal. I have always thought I would go shakey if I missed a meal but no such effect! Bring on day 2 .
