For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

first day fasting newbie

Hi All, only read the book yesterday and am on my first fasting day today. Its going well so far, just had 120 cals worth of soup at lunchtime. i am starting to feel hungry now, its nearly 4pm, and deciding what to have for tea. Look forward to getting to know you all.

Best of luck to you. I'm waiting for my book to arrive, and looking forward to getting started too. If you have a busy day I'm sure it goes by before you know it and then it's feed day. Yah!

Hi, Freckles 68. Welcome to the forum. We're a friendly lot here and are all finding our own way through the 5:2 WOE (Way of Eating), or WOL (Way of Living) as some like to call it. Congratulations on taking your first step. It sounds as if you are well organised and motivated, so I hope it goes well for you. Keep us updated on your progress and if you need help or support, you only have to ask - someone will be sure to know the answer!
