I'm 3 weeks in and so far am really pleased with the results. My weekly weigh in today gave me a 1lb loss totalling 8lbs all together in 3 weeks.

Not to be greedy i was hoping for a 2lb loss today - does anybody else experience just 1lb loss?

It usually averages out to a pound a week, so you are getting great results. Check out the FAQ on why the scales don't always tell the whole story.

I'm only a few days in but I love reading about people seeing real results! :-)
If I can do even close to the same I'll be jumping for joy.
Can I ask, are you limiting yourself calorie-wise on the feed days? I find I'm just not as hungry. Checking online my daily calorie needs are only 1663 (I'm quite short!!) but I'm probably only eating 1200 on feed days, and about 450 on fast days. I'm hoping this will speed up weight loss but I think I've read others saying that it's best to eat all your calorie requirement on feed days. Ah we'll, guess I'll find out soon enough at weigh in :-)

To be honest I eat what I want on feast days and not counting calories. But at the same token I'm not over eating. I also exercise about 3/4 times a week.

8 lb's in 3 wks is amazing! I'd be over the moon with that!

I have lost 3 lb's in 3 weeks so now you see your loss is loads more. I think you will find the average weekly loss is around 1.4 lb's on this diet some people lose more some less. But as with any diet it will slow down so be prepared.

Yes I discovered this when I lost just the 1lb this week. But 1lb every week is half a stone in 7 weeks!

Well done on your weight loss so far! Regular weight loss is the thing rather than how much at once. It can help your body integrate the weight loss when you lose weight more slowly and you hopefully won't end up with empty fat rolls that's what I am hoping for anyway!
