my first week
08 Mar 2013, 17:02
I started this week, im fasting Mondays and Thursdays, though this week I did Tuesday and Thursday.
My first fast was alot easier than I imagined and yesterdays easier.....in fact to the point am I doing this right!
On my fast days I start with a drinknof tea then nothing till my evening meal.
On feast days I actually feel guilty for eating....im not as hungry as I think and ive no interest I reaching for the cakes and biscuits.....well not much
Today on a feast day ive had 2 slices of wholemeal toast with a cup of tea but only managed to eat 1 and a half slices. Mid morning snack I had a very small piece of ginger cake with 2 ginger biscuits with a brew. Lunch was two heaped pudding spoons of Onken vanilla yogurt with 4 blueberries. After the school run I was very naughty and had 3 digestives with cheese
The family are having steak pie and chips tonight but I feel as if ive eaten far too much already to join them......

Welcome to the forums!
I think you've hit on what I like so much about fasting. I'm naturally eating less on feast days just because I don't want as much. It feels good to eat to your heart's content, but even better when that means you're happy with a very small piece of ginger cake :-)
