If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi, I live in Southern California now, quite near to Disneyland. I'm originally from London - Eltham SE9 to be exact - and am thrilled to see this next "British invasion" - the 5:2 Diet !!

Today is my first fast day - decided to stop thinking about it and just do it. Going okay but its only mid-morning so we'll see !!

Glad to find this site as I'll need all the support I can get. Don't have tons to lose, just some stubborn pounds that creep up over the years and won't go not matter what I do.
