The FastDay Forum

Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

I am a newbie

Hi everyone. I am a 51 year old female and my weight has crept up by a stone over the past two years and I was already about 7 - 10lbs over what I wanted to be. I want to lose a total of 18lbs - but may adjust that if my face gets scraggy lol. My hubby needs to lose 3 stone and he does not really try but he is keen on this method as it would suit him well. I can do the food bit I am sure - my big weakness is a bottle of wine most nights due to extreme stress and pressure of work. Feeling positive as so many success stories on here :-)
