My very first day
11 Mar 2013, 10:53
Hello... Firstly, I just want to say 'thank you' to whoever started this forum - it is so helpful, and so nice to be able to chat to other people on the diet..

Today is my very first day in the diet. I've just had my egg and slice of ham, along with my black coffee... Tonight I am going to have the low carb Caesar salad... I will have a tangerine later on this pm...

I'm quite excited, but also nervous about how I am going to cope with the evenings!! I always look forward to a cuppa and a couple of biccies,my little treat after my busy day !

Right off to have a trawl around the boards!

It's my first Fast Day today too!

Although, I feel like I've gone about it all wrong. I think I've blown too many cals on my VERY milky coffee this morning... :-(

Nevermind! If I keep moving - I won't notice food (or the lack thereof!)

Why not build your biccies (or similar) into your day. I do. Every evening I have a Finncrisp and Cathedral city selection cheese. 20 + 50 = 70 cals and peace of mind and tum!

Welcome to the forum.........it's the reason why I am now so committed to 5:2ing. I'm the opposite from Penny - I prefer to keep the biscuits until tomorrow and think of giving my body a rest today. But that is the beauty of IF, everyone is different and you just suit yourself. Good luck.

yes indeedie, wildmissus!

One of the reasons I think I never managed to stick to other 'diets' was the fact I couldn't be flexible. I've refined what works for me, now.

'Suiting yourself' should be the watch words of 5:2.
