If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi, new to 5:2 forums

Hi
New to this site, but not the diet - this is now week 8 and i'm finding it very difficult today, so went online for inspiration. I really enjoy reading these forums to see how everyone else is doing and love the nerdy stuff. I too have been losing on average 1lb a week, which I'm very happy with. My goal is to lose 10kg all up, which i managed to put on this past child bearing decade, and which until now has refused to shift. Great site and well done to my fellow fasters xx

welcome to the site, I find it really helpful and read inspirational stories when I am finding it difficult. Always some one going through same emotions as me!
well done fo doing 8 weeks, im on my 4th so not as long but I hope to make it a life commitment.

Welcome! I do sometimes have a fast day that is a bit tougher than the others. But on the bright side, occasionally one is easier too :-)

I definitely find that hanging out here is an excellent way to keep my motivation up on fast days.
