Hi

Totally new to the diet, started today... Is Bovril a calorie free drink? Thanks

It's 5 - 10 cals per mug of made Bovril drink (ie for a teaspoon of concentrated Bovril. I like to cut a couple of celery sticks into thin fingers to dip in mine (the crunching makes it feel like you've eaten quite a bit) and count the whole think as 15 cals.

It's 13 cals for the Bovril stock cubes.
I have one at dinner on a fast day, minimal calories and sees me through to tea. :like:

I love the Bovril cubes and have two on my fast days. They make me feel as if I have had something savoury to eat. Usually have one mid morning and one mid afternoon, they see me through to evening. The only worry is I like salt in them and they do contain a lot of salt. I try to drink lots of water though.
