For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi, just heard about the 5:2 diet and have been trying to lose weight for the past couple of weeks and have decided to give this a go. I am going to try 4:3 as I hope it will help me lose weight a bit quicker.

Hello and welcome. I started off with a 4:3 week and found it really gave me a boost to start with. Good luck.
