Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Having lost two stone two years ago with combo of willpower and intense exercise, the weight started creeping back on until I had gained 10 of those hard fought 28 lbs. getting a bit despondent I watched dr M 's Horizon programme and was pretty convinced. Post knee op, at home by myself, I have given it my all. Three fasts later (8 days) I have lost a staggering 6 lbs! And it hasn't been hard - so far at least. I had hoped to get back to my goal weight of 9 st 3lbs by after Easter but at this rate (which I appreciate it won't be!) it should be well before then. Yippee. Easiest woe I have ever tried. And I have tried them all.
Congratulations!! Very happy for you :-)
Well done blueanne. I have a long term goal to lose 17kg by the end of Nov (I think thats doable)...and keep it of forever and not waste another second worrying about my weight/health/gaining/new fads. Just looking forward to chilling out :)
