Weighed in today and have lost 4.5 lbs which I'm very happy about. this week I've found that the fasting days have focused my mind and I've been watching what I've been eating but have also had my cake and eaten it when I really fancied it! My husband took the approach that he was going to eat what he wanted and see how he got on and he has lost 2.5 lbs so he's quite happy with his progress.
I like the thought of being able to eat without feeling guilty and still lose weight without feeling the diet is taking over your life. The fast days definitely seem to concentrate your mind on what you are actually eating. Just purchased the Hairy Dieters recipe book, looks like it will be good for the whole family.
How are other newbies getting on?
