If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi I'm new to 5:2

Hi my name is Justine and I'm new to the 5:2 fasting diet. I'm a American living in Garmisch Germany. I'm married and have two daughters. Being 42, it is getting harder and harder for me to lose weight, I'm 5'2" and weight 160 lbs, about 30 lbs too much!!! I've tried the HGC diet,and it was just too much for me to eat only 500 calories for 90 days straight. I am hoping having only to restrict myself for 2 days out of the week it will be a lifestyle change and not a diet at all. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you a bit better. With support from one another maybe we can finally find the solution to our weight issues together.
