For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi All,
My name is Mandy , I am 5ft 5ins tall and weigh about 175lbs, I am really looking forward to starting my first fast tomorrow, I have read Michael moseleys book also kates and are both very inspiring, I have been on every diet going over the last 30 odd years and yo yo ed up and down, and am fed up with always having to think about everything I eat, this, I am hoping is my answer!!!. Feeling very positive and motivated, any feedback appreciated.

Oh I understand completely - and I think this might be the diet you've been searching for. The key, to me, is planning :-) Good luck with tomorrow!

Yes I have planned tomorrow out, as not at work this Monday, am going to try not to eat for as long as possible, going into town am, then swimming, home for shower, then out for a walk with friend, should take most of the day up, got myself two wait rose ready meals for my two fasting days to make life easier and hubby has a lovely pie!!!!! (Ready made) might i add.!!!
