The FastDay Forum

Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi All!

Just recently discovered this forum and just wanted to say hi!

As my topic title says, I am not new to the diet. I have been doing the 5:2 since early December, and have been pretty consistent (except for 3 consecutive weeks in February where I only managed to get in a day or 2 of fasting).

Just to give you a little background, I started at 265 lbs (6') and after a little over 3 months I weighed in at 229 lbs. this morning. My fast days vary from week to week but I don't find them too difficult, and my appetite is definitely down on feed days.

I don't have s specific goal, but 200 lbs or under would be nice.

Rob
