Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

I wasn't sure what to expect... I fasted on Monday and Thursday last week and had just under 600 calories a day. I was careful i.e. < 1500 calories on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday but I had a lot of calories on Tuesday (beer watching the football) and Friday (wedding with lots of food and booze).

I have cut out biscuits, fizzy drinks, crisps (my downfall) and alcohol on most days and now drink a shed load of fizzy water.

I started off at 17st 3lbs on Sunday last week and the scales show that I'm now 16st 11 lbs so I'm very happy with progress!

I'm really not expecting the same drop at the weigh in next Tuesday but you never know!
That's wonderful! Good job.
