Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Newbie - 3 fast days completed
19 Mar 2013, 13:58
Hi all, I started the 5:2 last Monday and have completed 3 fast days. Going well so far. The only trouble I have been having is waking up at 2am after fasting. :sleepy:
Oh I've done that a couple of times! LOL The dog gets so excited too, which is cute. I just make myself go back to sleep and say "no food until 6am!"

Welcome to the forums :-)
Thanks for the welcome. So glad to find this forum very few in the US know about the 5:2 fast and it is great to have a place to come for support and advice. Yes I got a bottle of water and read until I fell back asleep knowing I could have my latte in the am.
Welcome to the site. :)
