Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!
If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

you're in the right place!
Lots of people from all over America and plenty of veggies- even some vegans!
Looking forward to seeing how it goes for you.
Don't forget to put your details into the tracker so you can see how well it's going.
Best of luck
Good luck with your new WOE (Way of Eating)!
I am also new to this plan and I just completed my first fast yesterday. This morning, I feel great! My hardest time with hunger was between the hours of 1pm and 5pm - the rest of the day was fairly easy. I made the stir fry on the the cover of the book and it was quite yummy! Maybe instead of the chicken, you can add a greater variety of veggies. Good luck! - Shelly

and welcome from another fellow American.
I have been doing this for about 7 weeks, but have been on maintenance for the last 3. I am not a vegetarian but usually eat very little meat and none on fast days. I find egg bitters very helpful for only 25 cals per 3 TBSP. I make myself an omelette with 6 TBSP, 1/2 oz low fat feta and mushrums fried with an oil spray or 1/4 tsp of olive oil for 110 cals. Regular favored oatmeal packets are 100 cals nuked with water, fiber one original cereal has only 60 cals per serving and lots of fibers and Almond milk is amazing- 30 cals per cup for the unswittened version. And the nice thing is that you can find all of these in regular supermarkets.
Not only do we share a name but actually, we look very alike, how spooky is that?
