The FastDay Forum

Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hello

Hi everyone
Just starting out, on my second fast day today. I thought I might try 3 days this week, and 2 days next week, Anyone got any views on the wisdom of that?
I have already lost 4 stone the "traditional" way, but just want to speed up the last stone, and also benefit from the other health issues that the fast diet appears to bring with it.
Hope to hear from some of you soon
Nice to "meet" you
Rusty

Welcome Rusty! There's a post from the tracking results and I hate to tell you but I don't think the 4:3 people are really losing more weight than the 5:2 people.
