Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Did my first fast day yesterday and this morning I was down almost 3lbs. I know a lot of it was water weight etc, but it was good to see the loss.

I found the day to be not so bad. I had boiled egg, slice of turkey and some red peppers for breakfast, just a cup of hot water and apple cider vinegar for lunch and cod with vegetables for dinner.

My biggest problem time was the evening. I am so used to some snacks after dinner so that was hard.

Well done Smashling, and welcome to the forums! :)
The evenings get easier as you learn to look forward to things you can enjoy tomorrow instead (but usually won't end up eating them anyway!)
I am hoping that my knitting project might relieve the boredom eating tomorrow for my first fast.
