Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hello from Minnesota, USA!

Although I haven't been doing this WOE for long - just finishing my 3rd week  , I have seen the most positive results this week. I truly believe its because I'm counting my calories on feast days (and for sure on my fast days). I just wasn't seeing much happen the first two weeks and while I "thought" I was eating within my TDEE, the honest truth is I wasn't counting or measuring to be sure that i was. This week I have been and, although its more work, I know 2 things for sure, (1) I know for sure now that I was eating more than my TDEE on my my feast days; and (2) I've seen more downward movement on the scale this week. :like:

So, if you're frustrated because you're not seeing anything happen and you're not currently counting/measuring, I would suggest doing so. :like:

Thanks everyone!
Carol
Congratulations! And thank you for the reminder :-) It's not "pig out" days, it's days we should eat reasonably :-)
