Hello all,

Thought I'd sign up for this forum as I've just completed my first fast, I had my last meal Wednesday night, it's now Friday morning.

I decided not to eat anything yesterday just water and coffee and I'm feeling pretty good this morning, kind of on a bit of a high and generally feeling positive about this change in lifestyle.

I am planning to fast Monday Wednesday and Fridays as I work during the week it's easy to stay busy at work and ignore the hunger!

Does anyone else skip food altogether? I don't feel like I missed anything about dinner other than the social aspect of eating with my wife and two small children.

Fingers crossed ill keep it up :-)

I'm impressed you are intending to start 4:3 with full fasting rather than 600 calorie meals - have you got a lot to lose, in a hurry? I don't think you will find anyone else on this site with quite such a strenuous approach... Good luck, anyway - give us some figures so we can see how you are doing.

I need to lose 2 stone for a BMI of 21 and would like about a stone gone by June.

I'm doing a fast today and Wednesday so ill weigh myself Thursday and update, got a special day for my 4 year old planned on Friday (pizza for dinner etc.)

Looks like I might be going about this a bit wrong! Thanks for your reply.
