If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

I just completed my second fast day and had awful (ahem) stomach pain and gas after drinking a diet soda. I didn't have this problem on the first fast day so I am guessing it was the diet soda? Has anyone else experienced this with carbonated drinks on a fast day? I don't have this problem when I drink sodas normally.
Not a fizzy drink person myself but suspect your body needs a bit more time to get used to the diet. I did notice changes in my digestive system that took time to settle down. Perhaps you should try to avoid too many on fast days for a while and then see what happens.
