I have spent many years dieting. WeightWatchers, Slimming world, cabbage soup, slim fast...you name it. They always started well, but then I would always fail.
I spent a few days scouring the web for information about this diet after my 15 year old son told me about it. The idea of being able to eat what I like on a feast day (within reason), well...it meant I had to try it, last chance saloon really as my GP has been pressuring me for a gastric band.
So, it starts!
I had my first fast day yesterday. Filled myself up all day with tea. Ate an apple without calorie checking it - BIG mistake! Note to self: no eating fruit on a fast day! Then my 334 calorie evening meal, follwed later by a slice of ww bread toasted with a scrape of spread. I must admit by 2pm I could have eaten anything not nailed down. However, I made it! clap on the back for me yippee.
Today, I thought I would be raiding the fridge, first in the queue for McD's etc. But no, it wasnt like that at all. I had egg and toast for brekkie and a tangerine and apple at lunchtime. It's just gone 5pm and the only thing i fancy is a cuppa!
Sorry, this is such a long post, but i'm so excited!!!
