The FastDay Forum

Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hello everyone, I have just finished reading the book, this seems like a realistic way to get healthy AND get rid of excess unwanted fat. Like most people I have probably tried every diet going; I am your textbook 'diets don't work'person! I feel so excited about trying this method that I am starting straight away, I am on night duty, so I have been asleep some of today, I last ate at 8 this morning so I am halfway through already! I have really enjoyed chosing my 500 cals to have sometime through the night, and I am currently sipping some bovril, because I was getting peckish. I am 60 next year, and will be 3 stones lighter, several dress sizes smaller and sooooo much fitter... what a brilliant birthday prezzie to myself! I hope you all do succeed in your goals this new year. I have never been on a forum before either, so lots to learn!
