The FastDay Forum

Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Newbie- starting on Monday!

Just thought I'd say hi as just signed up for the forum today.

Female fat and forty!!

Struggled with my weight all my life- tried weight watchers and Dukan diet and had a great weight loss on both of them- but then it comes steadily back on several years later! Probably need to loose 2 stone (will do my stats on Monday) and want to keep it off!
I am a scientist so I know all of the science behind calorific restriction but never managed to bring myself to do it! Heard of this diet r.recently and thought that it would be something good to try as surely it can't be that bad to incorporate 2 days a week eating just 500 calories!!
So I'm going to give it a go!!
Cheers
Allie
