For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi All,

Starting the diet today following discussions at uni. Apparently this diet is being recommended in all sorts of medical settings and is supposedly good for those who are likely to develop diabetes!

I have tried most diets on the market but this seems like one which could work for me. I can quite easily eat very little/nothing (having done the Cambridge Diet VLCD several times). We will see how this goes but today is my first fast day. Had a small breakfast about 7.30 and will have some roast veggies about 8pm tonight.... Just got to remember not to keep nibbling on rubbish!
