For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi,

Today I start my second week of 5:2 and the first week was a success!
I must say that I already went on a 500-calories diet for 3 weeks in the past, so I knew I could do it. I can't be moderate, though, so the 5:2 is just great for me.
I get through my fasting days with coffee, tea and keeping as busy as possible.
It's great to see so many people sharing their experience!

Hello and welcome to the forum!
I'm on my fourth week of fasting and in a bit of a bad patch, no weight loss in two weeks, but I've had some success already, so I'm going to keep going. It really feels like it will work in the end!
Like you, I rely on tea and coffee and keeping busy. My fast days have to be days when I'm at work, I just can't do it when I'm relaxing!

I hope you continue to have success and find lots of support here on the forum, it's a great place to be! :-)

(I went to Luxembourge once by the way, it's lovely!)
