For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi all
I am fasting tomorrow (tue) and have to go out for a meal on my next fast day (thurs).I don't think I can do 2 fast days on the trot and then it is easter. If I fasted from after lunch on wednesday until thursday evening would it work? Sorry to seem so thick!!

Just do one fast or the half-fast I think you're suggesting. Long-term way of eating so adjust it to suit your life and don't worry.

Indeed, one fast this week or one and a half fasts - doesn't matter when its one week out of a lifetime :)
Alternatively are you able to fast on Friday and still do your normal days next week?

Not sure I can do good Friday!! I remember reading in the book that you can fast at different times of the day but I think if I do lunch time until the following day at dinner it will be 30 hours instead of 36 so thats not so bad. Thank you
