If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Many of us also fast on Mon/Thu (myself included), so you'll find plenty of us chatting away in the 'fasting today' forum on those days when we've nothing else to occupy ourselves with!
I also started out hoping to lose around 3 stone, ideally a little more. I've lost just over 31lbs so far since August and it has felt like no effort at all! Another stone and I'll be really pleased. I'm sure 5:2 will work just as well for you and hopefully in 5 or 6 weeks you'll be saying you only have 2 stone to go - huzzah!
