I've just found this forum looking for recipes and average weight loss on 5-2 diet. I've been doing this since November and have lost about 15 pounds. I did have a blip at Christmas putting on a few and then when friends stayed in January. the only real difference is that on those occasions I drank a fair bit of wine. This really is the breaker for me. If I drink wine I don't lose weight (I'm not talking bottles - just a few glasses - maybe 4)
Anyway I really get on well with this way of eating. I manage to stick to 2 fast days quite easily and on feast days I try to count about 1200 - 1500 calories. I seem to have got into a pattern of stabilised weight loss of about 1 1/2 pounds per week now.
Looking forward to getting some good advice and recipes and maybe a bit of banter.
