If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi all,

Firstly I would like to say thank you to you all, you've inspired me so much by reading the various topics and advices, and when I've been stuck I've just searched for the answer on these forums. It's surprisingly very easy to navigate around. :like:

I started the 5:2 diet just over 2 weeks ago and today is my fourth fast day. It's got easier over time, and I'm also eating one meal in the evening. I feel great, have more energy, and don't feel bloated anymore. It's definitely becoming a WOL for me.

Hi rumcheeka and welcome, it's great to know that you have already been finding good information here, searching is worthwhile because there is so much that is getting 'buried' under 23000+ posts! I find the google search (bottom of left-hand menu) particularly good. But as Ginty says you are very welcome to ask too if you get stuck.

Great start to your new way of life! Do put your numbers into the tracker and contribute to the forum stats.
