For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Got started today so am off and running..Do any of you use My Fittness Pal as a tracker ? I checked out several and just liked this one..If so is there anyway to configure it to work with 5:2 ? It has put me on a 2500 cal diet plan...and of course tells me I haven't eaten enough...
Maybe there is a better one...so any help will be appreciated..

I have also started today, and use MFP.

I haven't seen a way to configure it, but then again I have mainly used it (until now) to keep track of how much I was eating so ignored the weight loss part of it. I have subsequently calculated the number calories I need to eat in a week to lose however much (using their daily value), so have calculated it by hand how much I would need to eat on a 'feed' day. This way is only useful when you view a week at a go, but it's better than nothing.

If you are loyal you will use the tracker here, ok it doesn't do the calorie stuff but you are contributing to our overall stats. OK if you use MFP or whatever as well we won't hold it against you... :smile:

I used MFP and found that it gives you a little too much credit for exercise and doesn't like fasting days.

With the popularity of this WOE I wonder how long it will be before someone comes up with an app based on IF?
