If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Greetings, I just started this past Thursday and I really enjoy reading and getting all the support that one needs. I saw the Eat, Fast, and Live longer and as many people found it very impressive. I have fasted all my life put mostly during Lent for I am catholic and always saw fasting as a good thing but never in the way I have learned from this 5:2 . We can't get the book here until after the 26 of Feb. but have be reading all I can online and did buy a kindle book close to this info. Anyways, I have always been trying something new in hopes to get my before 4 kids body but nothing works well with being so busy with the kids until now. Thanks for your support. My days are Tuesday and Thursday.

hi cecilia- I have just joined as well and like you used to fast for 21 days during the bahai fasting period in march- have always felt good after it and have great hopes for this too!! There is a lot of support here and I am positive that we can do it!!!ursula
