Hrt and 5.2 diet ?

Hi, this is my third week on this diet and I have not lost anything at all, weight or inches, what is going wrong.
I am on hrt, has this anything to do with it ? I would like to lose 10lbs.

Hi Kazzells, sorry to hear you haven't lost any weight or inches so far. I don't imagine that your HRT will make a huge difference - I take it and have not had any problems. You don't have much to lose so that might have something to do with it. Are you coming out of a long term period of dieting? If yes then your body might just be taking a while to settle into this WOE. Also, please let us know what you are eating on feast and fast days. You can't go completely mad on each feast day - the idea is to eat to your TDEE but not massively above or below it. Good luck if you decide to stick with it. It sounds as though you just need to tweak things a little.

Thanks for your reply, I am sticking rigidly to the 500 cals on fast days , I'm not going mad on the feast days although this weekend I did probably eat more than normal. My bmi at the moment is 23 and I do exercise a lot so maybe that's why I'm not showing any weight loss so far. I am going to carry on because I feel it's a diet that is sustainable and after having done weight watchers for years I feel like a change.

Hi Kazzella - I am on HRT and am still losing weight... Have you had a go at adjusting what you eat on the non-fasting days.... I now on average eat more those days.... it's working for me. Also if you don't have a lot to lose you may find you replace fat with muscle which will show on your clothes fit rather than the scales?
