Food on "eating-days"?

What do you guys eat on the days you don't fast? Do you eat whatever you feel like or are you still a bit careful with your cals?

I eat what I like, though I don't pig out every day I don't skimp on my treats and still have takeaways etc. I'm more aware of calories and find myself wanting more healthy foods in general, aside from my cakes and biccies that is ;)
I probably overeat a bit at the weekend and then balance it out in the week. My tummy is now far more inclined to tell me when I've eaten too much, and when that happens I learn my lesson!

Some of my best results have been on weeks where I've been more relaxed about my eating - if I've tried too hard to 'be good'it seems to result in less loss.

The last couple of weeks I've not been at all careful with my food aside from my fast days. I've been poorly, had easter indulgence, hubby's birthday and other family occasions. Despite all that, I've maintained my weight so can't complain!

I'll get back on track now I'm better and there are no special occasions for another 5 weeks or so - and the weight will start coming off again.

Stinaliza, I have completed 20 fast days and in the beginning threw myself into a healthy non fast day eating regime. I lost weight quickly and felt good. The past 2 or 3 weeks I have "pigged out" a little on my non fast days. I have found that having late night suppers, wine and beer has an adverse effect on my new fasting lifestyle. Weight loss is affected. I am stuck on having lost aprox 12ib and have noticed other health issues. I am lucky enough to have a Blood Pressure device and have started to use it regularly in order to see how my non fast days are affected by my excesses. On my fast days my blood pressure is within the "healthy" range but if I then start to eat and drink in excess then my blood pressure rises. So to me it is obvious that while on my non fast days I need to eat and drink in a more healthy way. I do not count calories etc but have found that sensible eating and drinking is an important part of my new lifestyle. We are all different but I know I need to be sensible on my non fast days.
