If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

First day!

First day on the 5:2 Diet! So glad I found this forum!

I've tried a few diets before and never managed to stick with anything.

Fingers crossed for this one!

Good luck!
I'm just starting to feel it now... eaten nothing yet and don't plan to until tonight.
However I'm sort of enjoying knowing I'm doing something good and looking forward to dinner :)

Thanks! I don't feel hungry at all, but I'm guessing that's got something to do with the fact I'm not out of bed yet!
I'm planning on doing the same thing, saving the cals for one more normal sized meal in the evening. Good luck with your day! :)

Going well so far! It's the comfort/boredom eating which is hardest to stop, it's worse than the actual hunger!

Yes definitely! I'm noticing I eat when procrastinating haha.

It went well for me too thanks, starting to get hungry now... doing work to ignore it :)
