confused on 24 hour time

hi i am 3 weeks into this and i am confused as to how you measure the 24 hour fast.
If my last meal is on wed night and I go to bed at 10:00 pm all day thursdsay I do a 500 calorie day. On Friday I go to feast day . it would be 32 hours of fasting is that appropriate ? Or should the fast start after a good breakfast on thursday till breakfast on friday? Please explain

Hi, yes, it's about 32 hours/ish with only 500 calories consumed. So I might eat a normal dinner on Sunday night, eat only 500 calories all day on Monday (I eat them as just dinner), and then resume normal eating on Tuesday morning.

I personally avoid the term "feast day" because I personally think it sends the wrong subconscious message, giving permission to overeat. I prefer to call them regular days or even feed days.

The fast should better last 36 hours.
You finish your dinner on one day, go to bed, wake up, eat 500 calories till bed time, wake up and eat as you normally would.

thanks so much that helps a bunch. I agree with not calling it feast days. I find the longer I do this the less indulging the feed days are becoming. I am into this only 11 days and have lost a pound and 2 inches in my belly so I am pleased so for.
