Hi all

Water is my next best friend at the moment, This diet is changing my taste as in the past could not drink tea or coffee without milk, but now have both without milk and sugar also loving a mug of green and herbal tea to give a change of taste buds.

Day one went fine, a few hunger pangs at lunch time but staved them off with water. After that didn't feel hungry and ate my dinner at 7-30 pm (Salmon, carrots and brocolli). Fell asleep at 10 so went to bed. Woke up this morning again not ravenous as I thought I would be so happy with my first fast.

Well done for making it through your first fast so well. You are the same height as my husband. He has gone from 15st 4lb to 14st 4lb since 27th January and his tummy is disappearing fast! He is not the most dedicated of 5:2 followers, so I am sure that your weight loss will be better than his! Good luck!
