For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Today is my first fast. I've read the book, I've perused this site which I think is great so I'm raring to go!
I resisted breakfast as it seems to make me hungrier and am enjoying hot water and a slice of lemon.
I would like to lose 2 stone and keep it off!!

Hi Pensive & welcome! Glad to hear your first fast is going well - keep on the fluids and you'll be fine!

Have you planned what you're going to eat today? Just one meal? Always curious to hear what others are having. I'm fasting today to and have a lovely salad planned for tonight, well under calories but it will fill me up nicely!

Thanks for the welcome.
I'm planning to eat chicken breast with cherry tomatoes,red peppers, & red onions cooked in low fat crème frais, it's a recipe devised by my husband and totally wonderful. I haven't worked out the calories exactly but I think it's within my limit.

I'm new today aswell, had muesli for breakfast and have some salmon and stir fry veg for evening meal, have just had a banana as I am off to they gym and wont eat till much later, hopefully that is all within plan

and I am new to the site today aswell,im in week 2 and on my 3rd fasting day today. I understand it is not recommended but does anyone use 'shakes' on their fasting days?
