I feel like I know most of you, as I have been reading your posts for 4 weeks now so today I finally joined the group so I started fasting on March 19 doing 5:2 and after 4 weeks of fasting I am down 3.5 pounds and I am so excited as this is the lowest I have been for 2 years (I know I am a slow loser so thats why I decided to only weigh in monthly as I do not want to be discouraged). This so far is the only thing that has made my scale move, I eat right and exercise most days and I'm still obese, my dr. has run test to make sure I didn't have thyroid issues and all comes back good as a matter of fact he said my blood work is the best hes ever seen all my levels were outstanding go figure and I'm still obese??? Again Thank you everybody for posting it really helped me to get through these 4 weeks, hers to the next 4

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!
