Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

So far so good
11 Apr 2013, 15:59
After hearing the rave reviews about 5:2 I thought why not give it a try.
I managed to get down to my goal weight earlier last year but as always it has slowly crept back on.
I am only on my second 'fast' day but I must say I have been pleasantly surprised at how well I'm finding it.
I'm a serial grazer so I thought I would really struggle not eating much during the day but i'm really not, it's strangely liberating knowing my body is repairing itself today.
Reading up on tips and notes from others on their 'fast days' here is really helping too...thanks :like:

Welcome Geraldine :)

Glad you're off to a good start. I enjoy 5:2 and it seems much easier than I'd imagined too.
