For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

When to weigh in?

So I'd like to know, in your progress trackers, do you weigh in after a fast day or after a feast day?

I've gone for after a fast day as the lower the number the happier I feel. But I'm very conscious that if I'd been tracking my weight after a feast day, I wouldn't have lost any weight at all yet!!

Love to hear if your thoughts on this.

It could be worth experimenting as some of us weigh more on the day after a fast. I seem to hold onto a lot of fluid straight after a fast and weigh less on the second day. I do drink loads on a fast day!

I lose alot of weight after a fast - but then it goes straight back on after a feast day. I think I'm going to only weigh once a week now after my Thursday fast day and leave it at that as the daily fluctuations are driving me crazy!

I do weigh daily but I have a weight chart with a trend line so that it evens out the saw-toothed effect! While ever it keeps pointing downwards I can cope! If you learn nothing else on this forum you learn how diferent we all are. :lol:
