Sick stomach when fasting
11 Apr 2013, 22:29
Hello - This is my third fasting day. I'm a very active person who is doing this diet for health reasons and want to lose about 10 - 12 lbs. Today was my first time active while fasting. I mowed my lawn, about 2 hours of hard work; it's a very hilly yard. Now I'm feeling sick to my stomach and have a head ache. But I'm over half way done with my day and don't want to over eat. Drinking tons of tea. Any thoughts?

Thanks! :frown:

Chamomile tea and porridge (boiled in water) or a couple of crackers will help you feel better.

If you are over a bit it won't break the bank. Sounds like you were probably sweating quite a bit with mowing a hilly yard, you may need some salt. Try a cup of bouillon, 5-10 calories. Hope you feel better soon. :)

A bowl of porridge boiled in water (4 TS of oatmeal) is 150 calories. Besides, if you're sick, the most important thing is to feel better.
