For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hello everyone. I started the 5:2 diet on Monday and up to now I have found it very satisfying I decided that I would fast on Monday & Thursday each week. Monday is my day off work but on Thursdays I work and I am surrounded by cakes as I am a cakes decorator. I figure it won't be to bad as I never ever eat cake at work and come Thursdays we are very busy creating beautiful wedding cakes ready to go out on Saturday so no time to think about food

Hello and welcome. I've only been a member for a week, but there is so much support here for everyone. Good luck with your weight loss. I admire you being around cakes all day!!! How lovely to do wedding cakes though. So special. Good luck.
