If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

I love how easy this diet has been over the last 5 months. I have lost so much weight and enjoy my fasting days just as much as the others. I started with Polly Fielding's 'The 5:2 Diet Made eZy' which had an excellent explanation and some good menu plans but then I wanted some interesting recipes to occupy my time(I like cooking) and I found Lucy Londales's 'Your 5;2 Diet Days Tasty Recipes For One' which really suited me as my husband isn't doing this diet do I have to cater just for me on my 2 low calories days each week. I think this diet is incredible. I had tried so many before but they never worked for me - this one does!
Welcome to the forum! You didn't say how much weight you have lost in the five months that you have been using this WOE. Perhaps you would like to share it with us or put it on your Progress Tracker and make it public so we can see?
This a very friendly forum and we have some real experts here, although you sound very experienced yourself! Lots of us on here are very excited about this diet and can be quite evangelical, on occasion.
Keep us posted on how you are getting on. We have members from all over the world now, so there is always someone to share your news with.
I have lost a total of 4 stone since I started 5 months ago and am thrilled as I have never before done this well!
