For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hello - rather excited

Although this is my first post, I have been lurking for the last couple of weeks, picking up as much info about 5.2 as I could.
Started a week ago and fasted Monday/Thursday. Today weighed in having followed the same pattern this morning as my starting weigh in. I really wanted to make sure I didn't get any false readings.
I have lost 7 pounds!!
I didn't find the fast days difficult, so I see no reason why I can't stick to the plan.
I know it will not continue at that rate, but what an encouraging start!

Hi and welcome - what a great start indeed! Its result encouraging to see results like this early on and all the better that you've not struggled with the fasts themselves. No doubt soon you'll be another 5:2 evangelist :) be sure to let us know his you get on as the weeks go by and feel free to add your data to the tracker.
