If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

first fasting day

I have been unwell and hospitalised with high blood pressure so dieting was last thing on my mind, although I had previous to this been able to shed 2 stone but since my discharge from hospital I put this 2 stone back on and now really must shed it as after the initial weight loss made it easier for me to exercise. Today is my first fast Day of the week and I am feeling extremely hungery trying different things to take my mind off food

It'll get easier, just keep busy, busy, busy! I'm fasting today too (week 15) and Monday is my clean house day! Helps structure my day and the added bonus of basking in tidiness in the evening and feeling like I've accomplished something! Thursday fast day is at work and I find it pretty straight forward now even around others eating! If you're hungry set yourself a task to complete and I often find once completed the hunger pains have passed! Good luck and stay focused!

Try and keep going, Im only on week 3 but its definitely getting easier. When I felt like that I told myself ..its only one day I can do it today..I agree with mariposa, keep busy and also drink water. Its not easy when you havent been well but well done for what you have achieved so far.
